Labour Economy

An in-depth analysis of the labor market should not be limited to a supply-demand examination, but also needs to contemplate the factors behind these forces and the consequences of their interactions. In addition, political boundaries do not identify the actual size of the labour market, the extent of which  often overlaps with other economic systems that affect the local labor market: our analyzes are therefore based on a model of a regional labor market and continuously apply confrontation methods between the Ticino and the surrounding regions. Therefore, in order to identify efficient and effective criteria for labour market policies, is essential to know in detail the regional labor market, its degree of dynamism and security and, finally, the demographic trends.
